Itinerary Details

Start your day with a visit to the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most sacred temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in the heart of the city and is believed to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas (lingas of light). Explore the nearby streets and markets of Varanasi, such as Vishwanath Gali, Chowk, and Thatheri Bazaar, where you can shop for traditional Banarasi silk sarees, handicrafts, and souvenirs. In the evening, head to the Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti, a spectacular ceremony where priests perform worship of the River Ganges with fire lamps and incense sticks.

Wake up early in the morning and take a boat ride along the Ganges to witness the mesmerizing sunrise and the morning rituals performed by the locals. You can also visit the Manikarnika Ghat, one of the oldest and most sacred cremation grounds in India, where Hindus believe that cremation brings salvation. After breakfast, visit the Sarnath, a significant Buddhist site located around 13 km from Varanasi. It is the place where Lord Buddha gave his first sermon after attaining enlightenment. You can visit the Sarnath Archaeological Museum, which houses an extensive collection of Buddhist artifacts and sculptures. In the evening, explore the city’s famous street food scene, such as chaat, kachori, and lassi, which are must-try delicacies in Varanasi.

On the last day of your tour, visit the Durga Temple, a historic temple dedicated to the Hindu goddess Durga, which is known for its stunning architecture and intricate carvings. You can also visit the Tulsi Manas Temple, dedicated to Lord Rama, which is believed to be the place where the Hindu epic Ramayana was written. Finally, head back to your hotel for an overnight stay.
